Lakeland Slate

Here you will find examples of Cumbrian Green Slate and Cumbrian Blue/Grey Slate quarried locally.

Green Slate, known as Lakeland Green Slate, Westmorland Green Slate or Cumbrian Green Slate has colour variations, markings and patterns unique to each piece of stone.

All our Slate is obtained direct from the quarry as clogs (large blocks) then split and made in to memorials at our workshop.
